“Thatcher’s legacy on health inequality in Britain and the future for public health in England”

Dr Alex Scott Samuel

Tuesday 29th April, 6.30-8.30pm

Harold Ellis Room, The Main Guild, Abercromby Square, Liverpool

The return of the postponed event. Dr Alex Scott Samuel will talk about his recent paper on Thatcher’s legacy on health inequality in Britain and the future for public health in England.

This promises to be a very engaging talk from a well informed, passionate speaker. He has been a lifelong campaigner for health equality and social causes from grassroots activism to national think tanks both as a physician, as a public health academic and contributor to the guardian.

An opportunity to consider the future of the NHS, how it will affect your careers and what you can do to shape that future.  For more information about Alma Mata Liverpool see there group-space.
