This is the final in this year’s Global Health Advocacy seminar series held jointly by the Royal College of Physicians and the Alma Mata Global Health Network.
This seminar will address the current Ebola crisis in West Africa and analyse the interational community’s response to the outbreak. What caused the delayed response by the WHO/UN? What triggered individual state responses? How would travel bans effect control efforts? How can health professionals in the UK contribute to the global response? How will this outbreak affect future global health security responses?
