Contagion of fear: Ebola and future global health security responses

This seminar will address the current Ebola crisis in West Africa and analyse the international community’s response to the outbreak. It will explore which factors have contributed to the delayed response by the WHO/UN and triggered individual state responses? How will travel bans affect control efforts? How can health professionals in the UK contribute to the global response? How will this outbreak affect future global health security responses?
