Regional Groups

Most of our events are currently centred in London and Liverpool, however we are hoping to expand across other parts of the UK (and beyond!)

If you are interested in setting up a branch of Alma Mata in your region, please get in touch!

Alma Mata Liverpool

Liverpool Alma MataThe Liverpool branch of Alma Mata was established in 2013.  We have organised many excellent events, including lectures and a film series with a focus on global health issues.  We also have strong links with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, Liverpool Medical Institute and other local Manchester-based groups.

We have recently updated our social media accounts so please see the new Liverpool Facebook page and Twitter account for up-to-date information on events and activities in and around Liverpool.

For more information about getting involved in our group, please email liverpoolalmamata@gmail.com

Alma Mata Brighton

This is the Brighton branch of the international Alma Mata network. We run a number of exciting events from showcasing expert speakers on a range of topics to journal club and movie nights. We aim to provide a platform for continued learning and to prepare individuals for careers involving global health work.

Visit our Facebook page for more details of our upcoming events or email brighton@almamata.org.uk
