Global Health in Local Practice
22nd September at the RSM
In our increasingly interdependent world, global health has become relevant to all healthcare professionals. With increasing population movement and shifting disease patterns, healthcare professionals working in the UK are being challenged to deliver effective care to multi-cultural communities with diverse needs.
Co-hosted with the Global Health Curriculum Group, this evening event will explore aspects of global health relevant to those working in the UK and promote debate around the further inclusion of global health competencies within the curricula of the Royal Colleges.
Book your place to join a range of expert speakers from all levels of our health care system including patients, practitioners and commissioners of postgraduate training, featuring a keynote address from Lord Nigel Crisp (House of Lords and Co-chair of APPG on Global Health),
This meeting will also offer a great opportunity to network with local global health advocates and to find out what the RSM has in store for its global health programme this year.
