Bwindi Community Hospital in South West Uganda have had a partnership with the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) since 2012. The RCGP sends two GP volunteers (one trained and one trainee) each July/August for a year. The volunteers’ roles are focused on building the capacity of the staff and health systems alongside clinical responsibilities.
