As healthcare professionals, we have a voice. We have the power to influence these processes of change. But what should we be asking and advocating for?
I don’t have the answers to such a complex problem. That’s why we chose this subject for Alma Mata’s next Global Health Advocacy seminar. We’ve lined up experts to take part in a panel discussion, to review our options – do we stick with a publically-funded NHS and push for increased resources, or do we seek a different model? – to help us to understand what’s going on, and how we can make sure that decisions affecting OUR healthcare system, OUR patients, aren’t made without us.
